Hard to believe my trip to Kauai was 9 months ago. Not to mention my South America trip which is just a blur at the moment. Hmmm...perhaps it's that cheap ass wine I'm drinking right now that's playing tricks on me. Time for an outing with Francis to sample one of his fabulous wines. OK so I digress. Where was I? If you guessed Zimbabwe then you're drinking crappier wine that I am. On the other hand, if you guessed Jamaica then congratulations you didn't get distracted by the rubber glove (no clue how it got there). My goal is to document the whole trip using my sidekick iPhone (yes I'm sad) and its new companion Mr Flip Mino HD. Pleasantries aside I'll try to be consistent and post regularly, granted WiFi has been invented there. Pictures and videos on this blog will be provided courtesy of the iPhone 'cause I don't want to haul my MacBook Pro there. Be patient when I upload the videos as they have to be processed by YouTube first. But I don't expect it to be a problem. Knock on my wooden head. Three days to departure on Monday Dec 7th and counting.......
I'm looking forward to hearing all about the hedonism. Watch out for slave traders and maybe listen to Led Zepplin's "D'yer Maker" before you head out--if that seems cryptic, it is!
